Very enjoyable. I like American cooking cause it’s so idiotproof and flexible – if you get some measurements wrong it doesn’t matter much because it will all taste awesome anyway.

Of course conversely it means that eating out at an American restaurant is really not worth it unless you get something deep fried or grilled with a really good grill. Otherwise most of the time I found the dishes at American establishments lower in quality than the ones I cook myself.

fyi, to get bread golden without deep frying/grilling it you can spread both sides with a thin layer of mayonnaise and broil it in the oven on both sides.
