Dinner at Vittles, Bell Town

We came here because of a groupon; the food was alright, nothing to really shout about. Perfect for a late night snack if you’re partying in the area; otherwise, don’t specially make a trip down.

We shared the seared scallops on cauliflower puree – scallops were on the small side but well seared. The broccolini was also charred nicely.

Dungeness crab beignets – the dungeness crab was really not apparent. But at that price point one can’t expect too much.

We also tried their poutine, which came in a super large portion and we had to pack most of it home. It doesn’t really look appetizing in the picture but it was not bad. The best poutine we’ve had in Seattle is still the one at Frank’s Happy Hour, where they scent the beef gravy with rosemary and use shoestring fries.
